Description
Mullein Leaf, Verbascum thapsus ~ Mildly earthy, cooling, astringent and drying, very slightly bitter. The leaf is the most often used part and this herb it is almost always associated with breathing. Traditional uses include as a slightly drying expectorant, and preparations include as an infusion or tincture for internal use, and externally as a poultice for sprains.
