Description
Comfrey Root, Symphytum officinale ~ Earthy, moistening, and cooling. The root of comfrey is used similarly to the leaf. Traditional topical uses include healing burns and bruises in poultices or as an ingredient in salves or creams. Topical use is more common than internal, due to concern about potential liver toxicity associated with long term use.
