Description
Comfrey Leaf, Symphytum officinale ~ Green, slightly sweet, and cucumber-like. Comfrey leaf is traditionally used topically for healing burns and bone bruises. It has been used internally for digestive issues and as a nutrient rich food, but today it is more often recommended as an ingredient in topical applications due to toxic liver effects from long term internal use of the herb.
