Description
Nettle Seed with Calyx, Urtica dioica ~ The flavor is mild, slightly nutty, nutritive. Nettle seed has been used in some of the same ways as the leaf, as an immune tonic with respect to seasonal allergies, and as a diuretic and urinary tonic. Additionally, traditional to modern use includes claims of benefits as an adrenal tonic, or to fortify against fatigue.
Nettle seed is harvested at a stage that is intended for ingestion, not planting. It will not germinate.
