June 27–29, 2025 | Oshala Farm, Southern Oregon

You wake to birdsong and a soft golden light filtering through the trees. The scent of Lemon Balm drifts past as you unzip your tent, nestled at the edge where forest meets field. All around you, the land is alive—chamomile nodding in the breeze, bees already busy in the skullcap, echinacea catching the light.

This is Herb Camp at Oshala Farm, and the day is just beginning.

Rooted in the Land

At its heart, Herb Camp is a chance to connect—with the plants, the land, and a community of people who care deeply about both. For one weekend, our working herb farm becomes a vibrant gathering place for learning, celebration, and shared experience.

Founded and stewarded by Elise and Jeff Higley, Oshala Farm grows over 80 varieties of medicinal herbs using regenerative and certified organic practices. This is where you’ll camp, eat, and learn—surrounded by the very herbs you’ll be studying.

As returning camper and teacher Tessa Kappe shared:

“Campers rambled happily across the vibrant fields of calendula, skullcap, rue, elecampane, sage, echinacea and chamomile… The schedule was filled with dozens of educational workshops taught by leaders in their fields (teaching, literally, in the fields).”
